PARTS of the Wide Bay and Burnett have been included in a warning for heatwave conditions this week.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning on Monday (5 December, 2022) just after 3pm.
Parts of the Fraser Coast are likely to be affected by a three-day heatwave situation starting tomorrow.
The worst affected areas can expect maximum temperatures to rise to the low to mid-forties during the day.

According to the Queensland Government, a heatwave is a period of very hot weather, usually ranging from around 37C to 42C.
Officials said people should try and keep out of the heat, drink water regularly and – if you do go out – wear a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen and lightweight and light-coloured clothing.
