The November Bookfest is set to be huge, with 180 tables of quality second-hand books up for grabs.

Books start as low as 50c, with a huge variety of books on offer in loads of categories. Plus, there are puzzles, games, CDs, DVDs, Lego, and collectables.

Lifeline Bundaberg & Fraser Coast Business Manager Kylie Brogden said there will be a massive number of books on offer so everyone can be assured of picking up a quality read.

“We had such a terrific turn out from the local community in May and we have worked hard over these past six months to build on that success, having accumulated more than 180 tables of books for book lovers to come and browse through,” she said.

Importantly, all proceeds go directly back to funding Lifeline’s 24/7 Crisis Support services which continue to be in high demand.

“The Maryborough Bookfest is a great opportunity for families to come and fill a bag of books at great prices, knowing that every purchase is helping save a life,” Ms Brogden said.

And for those people needing to refuel throughout the event, this Bookfest will have a sausage sizzle and iced cold drinks available on site so people can easily take a quick break to re-energise and restart the book hunt all over again!
