WHILE clean-up crews continue to hose down the streets of the Heritage City and residents wash-out their homes for the second time in just two months, the Maryborough Mural Trail has given the region something to rejoice in what has been a challenging start to 2022.

The Maryborough Mural Trail picked up bronze at the 2021 Australian Street Art Awards.

The trail was announced as a finalist in the Best Street Art Trail category for the second year in a row.
The trail picked up the silver award last year.
This year’s category was won by Heesco Town in Yarram, Victoria.

The Horsepower Highway (Western Australia) won silver.
The Maryborough Mural Trail consists of dozens of murals painted on the walls of buildings in the CBD.
Some quirky, some serios; each mural tells a story that helps reflet Maryborough’s rich history.
FEEL GOOD: From cards to computers, libraries staffer has seen big changes
The project was established to help revitalize the city centre by attracting tourists and visitors who would then be exposed to local shops, businesses and cafes along the route.
