FORECASTERS have included three Fraser Coast rivers in an initial flood watch issued this afternoon.

Parts of South East Queensland can expect heavy rainfall from as early as this evening.
Catchments are already wet from recent rainfall and are likely to respond quickly to further downpours.

Local catchments likely to be affected by the rain include the Burrum and Cherwell rivers as well as the Mary River.
BOM says flood warnings will be issued for catchments with observed rainfall where flooding is expected.
All catchments likely to be affected include:
- Burnett River
- Burrum and Cherwell Rivers
- Mary River
- Noosa River
- Sunshine Coast Rivers and Creeks
- Pine and Caboolture Rivers
- Upper Brisbane River
- Lower Brisbane River
- Logan and Albert Rivers
- Gold Coast Rivers and Creeks
- Condamine Rivers
People living or working along the above rivers and creeks are advised to monitor the latest weather forecasts and warnings.
