Some 35 past and present Reds players are currently spread across the Sunshine State, engaging with local communities and performing manual labour as part of the state-wide tour.

The Fraser Coast has become a hub for elite sportspeople and events following the redevelopment of the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct in Nikenbah.

Rugby is also continuing to grow in the region ahead of February’s inaugural Fraser Coast Rugby 7’s Festival.

Reds head coach Brad Thorn said they’re excited to travel to Hervey Bay.

“It’ll be the first time the whole squad is together with the returning Reds back from national duties.

“As well as training, we’ll get out into the community our time there. Following our third Reds to the Regions tour, it’s important we continue to connect with the people of Queensland who we all represent.”
