Artist Dr Farvardin Daliri OAM toured Queensland with the giant kookaburra last year to help uplift communities during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The giant sculptures are fully mobile and towed by vehicles as they migrate across the Sunshine State.

The trio visited Childers today, but will continue their Fraser Coast stopover in Maryborough tomorrow.

Hervey Bay communities will be able to see the expanded Carnival of Joy on Sunday and again on Monday.
