Aldridge Head of Music Adam Hodgkinson said at the time that more than 40 musicians would mentor students as they rehearse for the concert.
Mr Hodgkinson, a former Aldridge student himself, said the music celebration was one of the events he remembered fondly when looking back at his days at school.
With the number of students taking part and audience interest increasing, the event outgrew the Aldridge State High School premises several years ago and moved to the Brolga.

The 2021 installment is again expected to see hundreds of people packing into the theatre to enjoy the live music and performances.
“The event has been sold out for the past four years and it has really become something the school and community look forward to.”Aldridge SHS Head of Music Adam Hodgkinson
Children who take part in the event include curriculum students as well as those who are just playing for recreational purposes
Mr Hodgkinson said many of the students who get involved in the school’s music program eventually enter the industry as professionals.
“Having one-on-one sessions and workshops with professionals and also getting to perform at a theatre is a great learning experience for them,” he said.
