River Heads Rocks: What you need to know

THE day has finally arrived!

History will be made at the Fraser Coast RV Park when the inaugural River Heads Rocks music concert takes place on Saturday, 26 June 2021. PHOTO: File / Shaun Ryan.

The inaugural River Heads Rocks concert kicks off at 11.15am this morning when Hervey Bay locals Forsaken Incident take to the stage.

Gates open at 11am.

Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour is expected to officially open the event before Miz Bully’s set.

A reminder to all ticket holders that River Heads Rocks is a COVID Safe event.

The Queensland Government’s COVID Safe App will be used at the entrance. The QR code will be available to scan at several locations at the pedestrian entrance. To help reduce congestion, make sure you have downloaded the app and have it open for when your turn comes around.

You will be able to buy 8 Ball Aitken’s official merchandise at the event.

River Heads Rocks stubbie coolers will also be on sale. Event T-shirts can be bought online.

What to bring:

Your smile, blanket, chairs, alcohol, money, phone with Queensland Government COVID Safe App already downloaded. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase.

Fundraising for MS Queensland:

River Heads Rocks has identified MS Queensland as their chosen charity. Justine Linderberg from the Everything Fraser Coast podcast will be raising money for the charity by setting up a small stand at the event – so please do support her when you’re at the event.
