National Simultaneous Storytime: It’s going to be out of this world!

But that awesome opportunity will become a reality for children across Australia on National Simultaneous Storytime tomorrow.

This year’s book Give Me Some Space by award-winning picture book creator Philip Bunting will be read by astronaut Dr Shannon Walker from the International Space Station.

Dr Walker will read the book at 11am.

Give Me some Space was named a Children’s Book Council of Australia 2021 Notable Book.

The Australian Library and Information Association said it support’s Philip’s belief that having a positive engagement with books and the act of sharing a story lays the foundation for any more quality reading experiences.
