ORGANISERS of the Fraser Coast Gran Fondo have released a graphic of the race route.

The event is expected to attract some 1,500 cyclists and their supporters to the region later this month.

Cyclists will line-up for the mass participation event in Hervey Bay on 21, 22 and 23 May 2021.
The 130km Gran Fondo and the 80km Medio will take place on Saturday 22 May, while the Crit race and family will be staged on Sunday 23 May.
Following a year of limited activity brought on by strict COVID-19 regulations, the event will provide economic impact and excitement to the Fraser Coast.

Fraser Coast Tourism and Events said the Grand Fondo was a major step towards the region’s broader ambitions to become Queensland’s major destination for sporting tourism.
