QUEENSLAND Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk has shared an animated video of what the Gabba would look like should Brisbane host the 2032 Olympic Games.

Ms Palaszuzuk said the stadium would be the Games’ main stadium, situated just a few minutes from the Brisbane CBD.
Upgrades to the facility would capacity increasing to around 50,000.

The Premier said the upgrade would be part of Queensland’s economic recovery plan to create jobs and support local businesses.
The International Olympic Committee named Brisbane as its preferred bid for the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane.
