Sea Breeze Café in Scarness recently launched its lounge room – offering groups a larger area where they can enjoy the full café menu with a little more privacy.

Owners Robert and Rose Koppes are excited about what the lounge has to offer Hervey Bay locals and visitors to the area.

“The lounge is a larger area within the café that can comfortably seat up to 20 people,” said Robert.

He said the lounge had already attracted groups of regulars who utilise the space for different reasons.

“Friends who meet up for a chat over coffee but land up staying for lunch, book clubs and some local organisations are already using the space on a regular basis,” said Robert.

People who book the lounge have full access to the café menu and also have the luxury of added privacy, as it’s separate from the regular seating area.

Robert said the location of the lounge was perfect for companies wanting to host staff meetings and workshops or seminars.

“With many people working from home now, the lounge is the perfect meeting room. Whether you want to catch up with your staff and colleagues, host clients for lunch or have a quick brainstorming session, we have a space that you will find comfortable,” he said.

People wanting a regular meeting venue can also make rolling bookings with the café.

Robert said the airconditioned lounge was perfect for:

  • Book clubs and other social organisations;
  • Birthdays;
  • Meetings;
  • Social get-togethers and
  • Business workshops or seminars

The lounge is available for bookings Monday to Friday.

Meanwhile, Robert said Sea Breeze continued to offer a top-quality café experience to patrons who wanted a morning or early afternoon out.
